People protest for Cluster University in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH , MAR 20 (KNO) : The people from all walks of life, including a large number of students and youth, took out a strong protest march and organised a protest and demonstration in the premises of historical Seri Bazaar under the banner of Youth Action Committee(YAC) , Bhaderwah here today.

They were demanding setting up of cluster university in Bhaderwah . A large number of people and youth from Bhaderwah town and adjoining areas under the leadership of Naseer Mehboob Padder assembled at Lakhsmi Narayan Chowk , Sari Bazaar during the day and started protest demonstration.

They were shouting slogans against the PDP-BJP -Congress -NC and also local leaders for not addressing the long pending demand of the people of this area.After holding protest at the venue for some time, then the people took out a protest march though the main bazaar. The youth were carrying banners and placards in their hands depicting their demands. They strongly demanded that Cluster University be established at Bhaderwah without any much delay and Bhadewrah campus ogf Jammu university be converted in cluster university .

Several local leaders including Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed , Mohan Singh Baloria , Mohd Hussain , Raj Kumar , Mohd Ramzan , Anzar Ayoub and others also addressed the gathering and criticized the State authorities for ignoring Bhaderwah in terms of setting up of full fledged university there which is an old demand of the people of whole Chenab valley keeping in view the merit of area .
